DNP Adds Raw Materials To Product Line

DNP International Co., Inc., has made some new additions to its raw material product portfolio. Of the 22 new ingredients, DNP is highlighting three of interest to the supplement industry. These include idebenone, sodium hyaluronate and theobromine. Ide­benone is used primarily for cognitive function, sodium hyaluronate is used primarily for anti-aging and theobromine is used for energy and weight loss. Idebenone is a synthetic analog of CoQ10 and studies show that it performs better than CoQ10 under certain conditions. Sodium hyaluronate is the sodium salt of hyaluronic acid (HA) and uses of it include ophthalmology, osteoarthritis and dentistry. Theobromine belongs to a class of alkaloids called methylxanthines, which are now of interest in the area of energy and weight loss.
